About

Paid ads, performance-only.
That’s the whole pitch.

Rootline is a performance agency built around a single idea: when we run your ads, we only get paid when the work actually moves revenue. For Shopify brands that means a percentage of campaign-attributed revenue. For service businesses, a fee per qualified appointment. Add-on services like social management and content direction are priced separately. This page is the long version of why it works this way.

But every agency says they're performance.

Performance is a fee structure, not a tagline. Most performance agencies still bill a retainer of $5k–$15k a month whether revenue is up 40% or down 20%. That's a subscription with a results-flavoured wrapper. Rootline charges zero retainer, zero management fee, zero setup fee on ad management. The only money that moves between us is tied to what the campaigns actually produce: a percentage of campaign-attributed revenue for Shopify brands, a fee per qualified appointment for service businesses. If the work doesn't earn, we don't invoice. Add-on services like social management and content direction are sold separately with their own monthly pricing. That's where retainers exist, scoped to the work.

How do you actually measure what counts?

Tracked, not estimated. Old performance-fee models took a cut of lift above a pre-engagement baseline. Every quarter became an argument over what counts as lift, what counts as the brand's own work, and which seasonality to discount. Rootline only charges for outcomes we can trace to a specific campaign we built. For Shopify brands, that's campaign-attributed revenue at the UTM and pixel level (Meta + CAPI, TikTok, Shopify). For service businesses, it's qualified appointments booked through a Rootline-run campaign, tracked end-to-end in a shared pipeline. Your existing campaigns get paused at kickoff so the baseline stays clean. Everything we take a fee on is something we built ourselves.

Are you going to hold our ad account hostage?

You own everything. Always. The ad accounts, the pixels, the Shopify store or the CRM pipeline, the CAPI integrations, the creative assets. All of it stays in your Business Manager and on your domain. Rootline operates inside your accounts at Manage / Operator level. Revoke access in two clicks if you ever need to. Ad spend goes on your card, not ours. We don't mark spend up, we don't hold media credit, we don't take commission from Meta.

Are we too small, or too big, for this?

The model works inside a band. For Shopify brands, the sweet spot is $30k–$100k/mo in online revenue, with real margin and a founder who can stand in front of a camera once a month. Below that, the unit economics get fragile on both sides; above it, you'll likely want an in-house buyer alongside us. For service businesses, fit comes down to ticket size, service area, and intake capacity. Home services, health and wellness, and professional services with a defined geography are the natural fit. What disqualifies either side is the same thing: revenue that lives somewhere we can't track. If you sell mostly through Amazon, Walmart or Chewy, the attribution doesn't work. We'll tell you on the audit.

Who runs it

One operator. Built like a team.

Rootline Marketing LLC is a Nevada-registered agency founded in 2026. Solo founder, systems-first operations, built to run like a tight five-person shop on day one.

Sean is a systems-first operator. The SOPs are tight, the pipeline is mapped, and the audit deliverable is a written report walked through live on the call. The offer is built on speed: audit started within 4 hours of an application, audit delivered within 48 business hours, performance agreement turned around within 2 hours of a verbal yes.

The reason ad management is performance-only isn’t marketing. It’s belief. Retainers on media buying misalign incentives. Skin in the game changes which clients we take, what we focus on, how fast we move, and how the work actually feels. Add-on services run on retainers because the work itself is the deliverable, not the revenue.

Operating principles

Five things that don’t change.

The model evolves. The offer evolves. These don't.

01

Skin in the game, always.

On ad management, our fee only exists if the work earns. That isn't a guarantee. It's a structure.

02

You own everything.

Accounts, assets, pixels, pipelines, creative. We operate inside your business at Manage / Operator level. Revoke access in two clicks.

03

Speed is a feature.

Audit started within 4 hours of an application. Audit delivered within 48 business hours. Performance agreement turned around within 2 hours of a verbal yes.

04

Honest numbers, honest scope.

Invoices pull from reports you can see yourself. We'll tell you you're not a fit if that's what the audit says. We've done it before.

05

Built like a team, run by an operator.

One founder, tight SOPs, the throughput of a small shop on day one. Systems do the heavy lifting. Judgment does the rest.
