Before you commit to anything

How to judge us.

Every agency site says the same things about itself, so there is not much point reading ours for the answer. Judge the work instead. Three ways, all free, and two of them do not need you to talk to us at all.

01

Read the audit

It runs on your numbers rather than an industry average, it ranks what is costing you money by what it costs, and it carries a section on what we are not promising. It costs nothing and there is no obligation at the end of it. If the thinking in it is not worth your time, you will know inside ten minutes.

What the audit covers
02

Read the method

The seven sections, what each one examines in a service business, and the findings that keep turning up. It is published in full rather than described, which means you can run most of it yourself. That is deliberate: a method that only works when we run it is not a method, it is a sales process.

Ask the hard version on a call

Thirty minutes with the person who would run the account, no deck and no second call with a closer. Spend all of it on the parts you are sceptical about. We would rather answer live than write around it here.

What we will not put on this site

Worth knowing what the claims here are held to, because it is also the standard your own numbers would be held to if you became a client.

  • We do not publish a client's numbers without their specific written permission, naming the figures that go public. Anonymising does not get around that: in a defined service area, the trade plus the city is as identifying as the company name.
  • Where a client statement appears, it carries a disclosure of any commercial arrangement sitting behind it. That is a legal requirement rather than a courtesy, and it gets built into the page rather than remembered later.
  • We do not put a revenue figure, a testimonial or a result on this site that we cannot back up on request.
  • We do not promise a number of leads, jobs or revenue. Not on any package, not at any price, and not on a call.

Start wherever you like

The front desk is the cheapest way to find out whether we are any good, because it needs no advertising and has no term. The audit is the fullest answer on the marketing side and it costs nothing. Either way, tell us what your last 90 days looked like and we will tell you whether we would take it on.
