A website that gets you called, not one that wins awards.
$500 to build it. $50 a month to host it, month to month. Built for a local trade business whose customers find them on a phone and want to ring them within about ten seconds.
Who this is for
Businesses with no website at all, or with one that is beyond reach: built by someone who has stopped answering, impossible to open on a phone, or still listing a number you gave up three years ago. That is a large share of the trades we walk past every week, and it is not a failure of anybody. Running the business took the time.
If your site works, keep it. We would rather tell you that on the call than take $500 for something you did not need.
Everything a trade site needs, and nothing it does not.
- One page that covers the whole business, with navigation that jumps to each section rather than making somebody load five pages on a phone signal.
- Your services, your area, your hours and your real phone number, written from what you tell us rather than filled in with stock copy about passion and excellence.
- Tap to call in the header, in the hero, in the footer, and a call bar that follows you down the page on a phone. Most people who land on a trade site want to ring you, not read you.
- A contact form that actually goes somewhere, with the enquiry emailed to you and nothing lost to a plugin that stopped working two years ago.
- Privacy, terms and an accessibility statement, plus an error page that routes people back. Most small business sites are missing all four.
- Built mobile first, with compressed images and no heavy libraries, because it gets opened on a phone in a driveway on one bar of signal.
What it is not
Written down here so nobody finds out after paying:
- Online payments or a shop. If you need to take money on the site, that is a different build and we will quote it.
- A booking calendar wired into your diary. That is what the Front Desk does, and it needs more than a website underneath it.
- Blog posts, ongoing SEO content, or social media.
- New photography or video. We will use what you have, and tell you honestly if it is hurting you.
- A redesign six weeks later because you changed your mind about the color. One round of changes is included while we build, then it is hourly.
A website does not answer the phone. Something has to.
A site brings you enquiries. It cannot pick up when you are up a ladder, and a missed call at four in the afternoon is usually a job that went to whoever answered next. That is a separate problem and it is the one the rest of this business exists to solve.
The Front Desk answers the calls you miss, at any hour, and books the job during the call. $500 to set it up and $500 a month, month to month, no advertising. You do not have to decide about it now and it is not a condition of anything here.
Before you spend anything.
01Do I own it?
02What happens if I stop paying the $50?
03Why so cheap? What is the catch?
04How long does it take?
05I already have a website. Is this for me?
06Will this get me to the top of Google?
The full terms are in the Terms, and what we do with anything you send us is in the Privacy Policy. You get the build agreement in full before you pay anything.
Fifteen minutes on the phone
Tell us what you do and where you work. We will tell you straight whether a site is worth $500 to you or whether you would be better off spending it somewhere else. If it is worth it, you will have it in days.
