Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies on this site, including pixels (small invisible images), tags, and software development kits (SDKs). Throughout this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.

Cookies can be set by us (first-party) or by a third party we use (third-party). They can last for a single browsing session (session cookies) or persist for a set period (persistent cookies).

We group cookies into three categories. Your choices on our cookie banner control which categories load.

• Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work and to remember your preferences, including your cookie choice itself. Always on. The site can't function without them.
• Analytics. Help us understand traffic patterns and how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Loaded only after you accept.
• Marketing. Used to measure our advertising and to show you relevant ads on other platforms after you visit. Loaded only after you accept.

We do not load Analytics or Marketing cookies until you accept them on the banner. If you decline, only strictly necessary cookies are set.

GA4 is configured with IP anonymization. We do not use GA4 to build advertising audiences.

Marketing

The Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel may also send Meta and TikTok information such as your IP address, browser and device data, the pages you view, and the actions you take on our site. This data is processed by Meta and TikTok under their own privacy policies.

We may use the Meta Conversions API and equivalent server-side tracking. Server-side tracking is still subject to your consent choice. If you decline Marketing cookies, we do not send pixel events from the server either.

When you first visit, we show a cookie banner with two clear choices: Accept or Decline. There is no pre-ticked box. Declining is as easy as accepting, and the two buttons are presented equally.

Analytics and Marketing cookies do not load unless you click Accept. If you close the banner without choosing, we treat that as a decline, and only strictly necessary cookies are set.

Your choice is stored in the rl_consent cookie for 12 months, so we don't ask again on every visit. After 12 months, or if you clear cookies, the banner will appear again.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it as a decision to decline Analytics and Marketing cookies. Our cookie banner won't appear for that browser, and no Analytics or Marketing cookies will load.

You can change your choice at any time:

• Click the "Cookie choices" link in the site footer (or the button below) to reopen the banner and choose again.
• Clear cookies in your browser and revisit the site. The banner will appear on your next visit.

If you withdraw consent, we stop loading Analytics and Marketing cookies on your next page view. Cookies already set in your browser remain until they expire on their own, or until you delete them in your browser. Section 7 explains how.

You can manage or block cookies directly in your browser. Each browser is a little different:

• Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies and other site data
• Safari: Settings, Privacy
• Firefox: Settings, Privacy and Security
• Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions

You can also opt out of advertising data sharing through the platforms directly and through industry tools:

• Meta: ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account
• TikTok: ad preferences in your TikTok account
• Google: adssettings.google.com
• Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com

Blocking cookies through your browser may affect how some parts of the site work.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, or when relevant law or platform behavior changes. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be flagged on the cookie banner the next time you visit.
